В октябре 2020 года Tesla действительно выпустила начальную версию пакета полного автопилота под названием Full Self-Driving Package. Возможность загрузить его была предоставлена ограниченному числу владельцев автомобилей Tesla, и в последующие месяцы его доступность предполагалось увеличить. Программа поддерживает такие возможности, как автоматическая парковка и ограниченная навигация по городским улицам, но пока очень далека от того, что можно было бы обоснованно назвать полным автопилотом. Tesla обещала апгрейдить пакет и намекнула на его подорожание в дальнейшем, чтобы подтолкнуть владельцев машин купить начальную версию.
